The ABR Youth Baseball Camp will give players the opportunity to be evaluated by college coaches. Players will go through a skills evaluation consisting of runnung, velocity from infield and outfield, pitching, catching, and hitting.

Also, each player at the camp will be given an ABR Player Profile Page.  The profile page will list the results from the camp: how fast each player ran, how fast each player threw the baseball from the infield, outfield, and the mound.  Also, catchers will be given the chance to throw down to second and get their velocity and pop times recorded.  To go along with the statistical data posted on the Player Profile Page, comments from the ABR Instructors will also be available for each player to see.

USSSA All-American Games

The USSSA All-American Games will consist of the top 14u-17u players as identified by ABR and USSSA.  The event serves as the selection for the 2012 USSSA All-Americans and the 2013 USSSA National Teams who will compete in International competition.

2015 USSSA Tri-State All-Star Weekend
ABR and USSSA baseball are proud to announce the new and improved USSSA Tri-State All-Star Weekend returning for its 6th year! Amateur baseball report and USSSA directors will be nominating players based on their outstanding performance at various USSSA tournaments and other events across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. What we want to see is YOU represent YOUR team at the USSSA Tri-State All-Star Weekend. This event will allow players to show off their skills and compete with the best players at their age level from Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. This year’s event brings new and exciting opening ceremonies held at the 2014 Frontier League Champion Schaumburg Boomers stadium. All players will walk the outfield track for a pre-game ceremony, followed by five lucky players from 9u-14u who are selected through a raffle to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the boomers game on Friday night.
