The ABR Youth Baseball Camp will give players the opportunity to be instructed and evaluated by ABR Professional Staff. Players will go through fundamental drills to learn proper techniques before being put through a skills evaluation. Players will be split up into groups based on their respective age level.  There will be four main stations for the camp: infield, outfield, batting, and throwing.  Each group will spend time at each station, giving players the opportunity to learn and be evaluated at each aspect of the game.

Also, each player at the camp will be given an ABR Player Profile Page.  The profile page will list the results from the camp: how fast each player ran, how fast each player threw the baseball from the infield, outfield, and the mound.  Also, catchers will be given the chance to throw down to second and get their velocity and pop times recorded.  To go along with the statistical data posted on the Player Profile Page, comments from the ABR Instructors will also be available for each player to see.

If you have any questions on the camp please contact John Sabatino at 708.675.1500 or email jsabatino@abwcompanies.com.

USSSA Tri-State All-Star Weekend

Every team has that player that really shows how the game of baseball should be played.  That player runs faster, throws harder, hits further, and becomes a team leader on and off the field.  ABR and USSSA Baseball is looking for "THAT Player"!  Together, ABR will hold showcases and scout USSSA tournaments to the players that truly show who is an All-Star Caliber player.

Players attending this camp can be invited to attend the Tri-State All-Star Weekend where they will represent their team at the and show off their skills and compete with the best players at your age from Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. This Event will identify players for the 2012 USSSA Jr. All Regional Games in 2011 (9u-12u) and the USSSA ABR Regionals and All-American Games in 2013 (13u).

USSSA Jr. All-State Games
The USSSA State Directors for Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin (plus others states to be added shortly) have decided to work together in bringing State Teams at the 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, and 13u level to a regional event that will include Skills Competitions and a tournament. Top players will be selected to represent their state in the 10-12 team tournament.  Bragging rights are on the line.  Who will take home the Championship Trophy?

The coaches for the teams will be announced on this site shortly.  They will be attending the event in hopes to see players that will make a great addition to their State's roster.
