The Amateur Baseball Report (ABR) is proud to have the opportunity to scout talented players across the country. A large number of USSSA tournaments will be scouted by ABR for the 2010 season. Every ABR sanctioned event will have at least one ABR Scout in attendance. The bigger tournaments will have more representatives from ABR, and the smaller tournaments will have local scouts assisting the ABR Scout. The ABR Scout(s) will be scouting each team at the tournament. ABR  Canada is looking for the top players in the country to directly invite to an ABR  Regional Tryout for the 2010 USSSA All-Canadian Games.

The ABR Scout(s) will have a roster of each team along with the tournament schedule. Every team and player will be scouted throughout the tournament. When an ABR Scout sees a player that is deserving of representing his region at an ABR Regional Tryout he will directly invite the player after the game or after the tournament. If coaches have a particular player in mind that they would like to be scouted, then please contact an ABR Scout or the Tournament Director.

The “Journey to the Dream” can start with direct invites to an ABR Regional Tryout. The main reason the ABR Scout(s) attend a tournament is to directly invite players to an ABR Regional Tryout, which players must attend to make the 2010 USSSA All-Canadian Games. The USSSA All-Canadian Games will feature the top players throughout the country (ed from the ABR Regional Tryouts). At the conclusion of the USSSA All-Canadian Games the top players at the event are ed to represent Canada as a member of the Canadian USSSA National Team.

By participating in an ABR Scouted Tournament every player on a team has the opportunity to be seen by an ABR Scout and directly invited to an ABR Regional Tryout. The ABR Scout(s) at the tournament will compile their reports after the tournament and post a scouting summary on www.AmateurBaseballReport.com. The scouting summary will recap the top players and teams from the tournament.
